The tests you have to take must appear in your study programme (in Esse3). If there is a case of tests taken irregularly, they will be considered invalid. For the compilation of the study plan, you can consult what is published on the Infostudenti portal.
Language skills required
Degree in Industrial Engineering
Students enrolled from a.y. 2018/19
Students enrolled must pass:
- An English B1 entrance test;
- An English B2 language test in order to graduate.
Students enrolled until a.y. 2017/18
Students enrolled must pass:
- An English A2 entrance test;
- An English B1 language test in order to graduate.
Master's degree in Management and Industrial Systems Engineering
Students who are not Italian native speakers have to assess the knowledge of Italian language at A1-CEF level: it is compulsory in order to take the second year exams.
Master's Degree in Materials Engineering
Students who are not Italian native speakers have to assess the knowledge of Italian language at A1-CEF level: it is compulsory in order to take the second year exams.
Master's Degree in Bioengineering for Personalized Medicine
Students who are not Italian native speakers have to assess the knowledge of Italian language at A1-CEF level: it is compulsory in order to take the second year exams.
Acknowledgement of language certificates
Students who have a language certification (acknowledged at international level as well as by the University of Trento) can send the certificate to the Academic and Student Services of their Department, in order to be accredited the credits related to the exam, without the need to take the entrance test/language exam for the first or second language. The certificate:
- must be sent via the appropriate application during the opening periods specified by the Department;
- must be in PDF format and legible;
- when there should be no expiry date, it will be considered valid for 5 years since the release date;
- must be part of the list of certificates accepted by the University.
Language Courses
CLA organises language courses for UniTN students, which are either free or affordable. Consider enrolling to one of the courses in order to improve your language level or to learn a new language.
Furthermore, the following course are available:
- Blended B2 ESP course (Engineering) (DII and DICAM): one lesson a week (2 hours) for 10 weeks, complemented with an interactive online self-study path (Moodle)
