Technical English / Technical Writing
The technical English courses are designed to enable students to study English in scientific academic contexts
Scientific Writing and Presentations in English
the Scientific Writing and Presentations in English course is aimed at developing students’ speaking and writing skills.
Academic Writing for your Master's Thesis
This course aims to support students in writing their thesis during the second year of the Industrial Engineering master's degrees. The course covers the functions and typical language of the various sections of a thesis, and practices aspects such as conciseness, style and conciseness, which are then applied in pair or group work to extracts from the students' own theses during the lessons. Grammar is dealt with in response to problems or questions that arise.
Who can enrol?

The course is aimed at:
- Master’s degree students of the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (in particular the students of the Information and Communications Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Science and AIS degree course)
- ICE Bachelor's degree students and Computer Science Bachelor's (in English) degree students.

The course is addressed to students enrolled in the second year of the Industrial Engineering master's degrees and is free of charge for them.
