Presentation of Law courses - January 2023
When are the courses held?
From September to December and from February to May at the Law Faculty (two lessons per week of one and a half hours, or two “academic” hours, each for a total of 30 hours or 40 “academic” hours).
1st cycle from September 30th to December 12th 2025
(excluding December 8th 2025)
DURATION: 10 weeks
LESSONS: 2 lessons per week of one and a half hours (two “academic” hours) each.
SPECIALIST LANGUAGES: English and French
LEVELS: English B2 and C1; French B1
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS - ENGLISH:
- placement test indicating that students can attend a B2b level course (for B2 course) or a C1b (for C1 course); the test must have been taken in the last six months, or
- successful completion of a B2a level course (for the B2 course) or a C1a level course (for the C1 course) at the CLA in the last 12 months, or
- for the C1 course: successful completion of the B2 English for Law course in the last 12 months, or
- presentation upon enrolment of an international certificate B2/C1 (see recognized certificates here: Recognized certificates), or
- successful completion of the B2 level Faculty exam (for the B2 course) or at least the C1 level Faculty exam (for the C1 course)
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS - FRENCH:
- placement test indicating that students can attend a B1 level course; the test must have been taken in the last six months, or
- successful completion of an A2 level course at the CLA in the last 12 months, or
- successful completion of the A2 level Faculty exam, or
- presentation upon enrolment of an international certificate at least of A2 level (see recognized certificates here: Recognized certificates)

- successful completion of a B2a level course (for the B2 course) or a C1a level course (for the C1 course) at the CLA in the last 12 months, or
- for the C1 course: successful completion of the B2 English for Law course in the last 12 months, or

- successful completion of the B2 level Faculty exam (for the B2 course) or at least the C1 level Faculty exam (for the C1 course)
