Who can enrol?
- students at Trento University who wish to learn a language for personal use (including Collegio Clesio students)
- students following single courses who have to pass a language exam
- doctoral students at Trento University
- postgraduate students at Trento University
- students at the Music Conservatory in Trento
- technicians, administrative personnel, students on scholarships, researchers and lecturers at Trento University
How much does a course cost?
- For technicians, administrative personnel, scholarship students, researchers and lecturers at Trento University it costs €100.
- Collegio Clesio students can enrol free of charge.
- For all other people it costs €50.
How do I enrol?
For external users / entities affiliated with the University of Trento, before enrolling on a course, it obligatory to register for the services of the University Language Centre by filling out the online application. You must have an Italian tax code; The request will be processed within 5 working days.
Enrolments for the June/July and August/September 2025 course cycles will take place in person at the CLA Office (via Verdi 8 – Trento). A valid ID (identity card, driver’s license, or passport) is required.
If you are unable to enrol in person:
- You may authorize a trusted person to enrol on your behalf. They must present a delegation form, a copy of your ID, and their own valid ID;
- It is also possible to request enrolment by email by writing to cla@unitn.it on the same dates set for in-person enrolment. Emails sent before the official start time will not be considered valid.
The email must clearly state the following information:- full name;
- student ID number (required to UniTrento students only);
- language, level and course code of the desired course (the course code is available in the schedule files published on the "Calendar and course timetables" page);
- user type (Student for personal reasons, Conservatory student, administrative employee etc.);
Important: priority will be given to in-person enrolments, and it is not possible to reserve a place in advance by writing an email.

Enrolment dates

1st cycle - January/February 2026: on January 14th 2026
- online from 00.00 on 14 January 2026;
- at CLA Secretary's Office From 10am to 12 noon and from 2pm to 4pm. - 2nd cycle - June/July 2025: from 9 to 11 June 2025 with right of priority on 9 and 10 June
- at CLA Secretary's Office from 10.00 to 12.00 noon (on 9 and 11 June even from 2 to 4 pm).
- 3rd cycle - August/September 2025: from 9 June to 18 July 2025
- at CLA Secretary's Office:- from 9 to 11 June: from 10.00 to 12.00 noon (on 9 and 11 June even from 14.00 to 16.00);
- from 12 June to 18 July: on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.00 to 12.00 noon (on Wednesday even from 2 to 4 pm).
Reopening of enrolments: enrolments will be reopened if there are any places left on courses. The way reopening of enrolments works is described HERE.
