The Center is part of the Language Center and Test Center Division, within the Teaching and Student Services Directorate.

The coordination of the training service and related research activities falls under the responsibility of the President of the Center, who, in agreement with the Didactic Committee, develops initiatives for the development of the Center. The President is appointed by the Rector.

Didactic Committee

The Didactic Committee is responsible for:

  1. supporting the President in defining the initiatives for the Center development, the guidelines to be adopted in the didactic programming process and in determining the needs related to language training for the academic year;
  2. evaluating and approving the following, upon proposal of the President:
  • the Center’s course offerings;
  • methods to assess language proficiency;
  • projects to improve the Center’s course offerings and services;
  • monitoring activities of the teaching provided by the Center;
  • initiatives for the training of teachers of the Center;
  • the necessary measures to regulate the services provided by the Center, according to the criteria of effectiveness, transparency, and cost-efficiency;
  • the international language certifications to be recognized for the purpose of obtaining the curricular ECTS/CFU as defined by the academic structures;
  • agreements.
