The University Language Centre (CLA) is committed to enhancing the language and communication skills of students and university staff. We offer services and opportunities to improve abilities in various languages, help users achieve the language levels required to obtain their degree, and provide training in specialist languages to facilitate entry into the world of work and research.
New Strategic Projects of the CLA (2025–2027)
As part of the University Strategic Plan for the three-year period 2025–2027, CLA aims to integrate and strengthen the existing training offer, focusing on innovative aspects of foreign languages and inclusion. The general objective of the Language and Communication Skills for the University of Trento Community (CLiCC@UniTrento) project is to promote foreign languages as a tool for building a plural, inclusive university community that is open to dialogue, both inside and outside the classroom.
The CLiCC@UniTrento project is structured into three main Strategic Actions, which address crucial aspects of Foreign Languages (FL) and require specific interventions:
- LiSt-SpLD: Foreign Languages and Specific Learning Difficulties (Disturbi Specifici dell'Apprendimento - DSA).
- CoN-FL Hub: Narrative Competence in Foreign Language Hub.
- EMIT: English-Medium-Instruction Training (for teaching staff/lecturers).
For further details on each project, please consult the dedicated sub-pages in the menu.
