If you are a student at the University of Trento interested in obtaining an internationally recognized certificate, you have the following possibility within the university itself:

Cambridge University ESOL exams

You can enrol for the Cambridge exams PET and FCE at the CLA at a discounted rate. The exams are offered in June and November/December and are held at the language school CLM BELL Trento (via Pozzo 30, 38122 Trento - tel.0461/981733).

You will receive an e-mail to come here at CLA to pick-up the letter calling you to take part in the exam approximately a week before the exam date itself. In the event of an exam session being cancelled, you will be informed by the CLA Secretary and you will get your enrolment fee back.

Note: CLM reserves the right to organize the exams with a minimum number of students present. 

P.E.T. Exam (B1 level)

Exam dates

The exam is computer based and consists of 4 parts:

  • Paper 1: Reading (45 minutes)
  • Paper 2: Writing (45 minutes)
  • Paper 3: Listening (30 minutes)

Paper 1, 2 and 3 will take place on THURSDAY 29 JUNE 2023.

  • Paper 4: Speaking (about 12 minutes per pair of candidates)

Orals will take place during the period from 23/06/2023 to 02/07/2023. Precise dates will be communicated by CLM-BELL nearer to the time according to the number of candidates enrolled.

From 10.00 am on MONDAY 20 FEBRUARY to 12.00 noon on THURSDAY 6 APRIL 2023 only by filling in an online application AT THIS LINK (the link will work from 10.00 am on 20 February).

Enrolment fee and how to pay
  • € 106,00 

You can pay only by PagoPA (you will find more information directly filling in the apply). You have to pay before closing the apply definitively and anyway not after 12.00 am on 6 April 2023. After paying the fee, it's compulsory to go back to the application and save it definitely, otherwise enrolment will not be valid.

F.C.E. Exam (B2 level)

Exam dates

The exam is computer based and consists of 4 parts:

  • Paper 1: Reading and Use of English (1 hour and 15 minutes)
  • Paper 2: Writing (1 hour and 20 minutes)
  • Paper 3: Listening (about 40 minutes)

Papers 1, 2 and 3 will take place on THURSDAY 8 JUNE 2023. 

  • Paper 4: Speaking (about 14 minutes per pair of candidates):

Orals will take place during the period from 02/06/2023 to 11/06/2023. Precise dates will be communicated by CLM-BELL nearer to the time according to the number of candidates enrolled.

IT IS  POSSIBLE TO ENROL ON CAE AND CPE EXAMS.
 
EXAM DATES:
CAE exam will be computer based whereas CPE exam will be paper based.
CAE (C1): SATURDAY 24 JUNE 2023. Speaking part period: 16/06/2023 - 25/06/2023.
CPE (C2): FRIDAY 9 JUNE 2023. Speaking part period: 2/06/2023 - 11/06/2023.
