If you need help with questions related to language learning or you require information on language exams or how to organize self-study you can meet one of the language teachers during their office hours in the Departments or during Tutoring hours at CLA.

To meet a teacher at CLA and at Mesiano / Povo, it is required to take an appointment.

To meet a teacher in the other Departments of the University (Dept. of Humanities; Dept. of Economics and Management; Dept. of Sociology and Social Research), it is also required to take an appointment.

Teachers receiving students in the various Departments can be found clicking on "In which building?", by selecting the one you are interested in.

What difference is there between tutoring and office hours?

Tutoring, by appointment, is dedicated to University of Trento students who need:

Office hours, by appointment, are mainly intended for students following curricular language courses at the Departments of Humanities, Sociology and Social Research, and at Mesiano / Povo. 

You may consult these teachers for:

  • advice on the choice between classroom taught language courses, blended courses or online self-access courses;
  • a preview of online self-access courses:
    - the specialized Engineering course which prepares students for the B2 specialized exam;
    - the general English online course;
  • advice on how to prepare for and pass the language exams;
  • information and advice on international certificates;
  • information on credit-bearing seminars (Sociology);
  • advice relating to the Modern Languages Degree Exams (Humanities Department);
