Who can enrol?

Students at Trento University who have to pass a language test as specified in their degree course programme.

How much does a course cost?

You can enrol free of charge for one language course per level up to the level of the test you have to pass (as specified in your degree course programme). Please look at the specifications for your department/centre/faculty in the USEFUL LINKS box.

How do I enrol?

Registration for the June/July and August/September 2025 course cycles will take place in person at the CLA Office (via Verdi 8 – Trento). A valid ID (identity card, driver’s license, or passport) is required.

If you are unable to register in person:

• You may authorize a trusted person to register on your behalf. They must present a delegation form, a copy of your ID, and their own valid ID;
• It is also possible to request registration by email by writing to cla@unitn.it on the same dates set for in-person registration. Emails sent before the official start time will not be considered valid.
  The email must clearly state the following information:
  • full name;
  • student ID number;
  • language, level and course code of the desired course (the course code is available in the schedule files published on the "Calendar and course timetables" page);
  • user type that is "Student who have to pass the language test".

Important: priority will be given to in-person registrations, and it is not possible to reserve a place in advance by writing an email.

Enrolment dates

1st cycle - January/February 2026: enrolments from 12 to 14 January 2026 with right of priority on 12 and 13 January 2026

• online from 10.00 on 12 January 2026;
• at CLA Secretary's Office from 10am to 12 noon.
• Deadline for giving up a course place: by 12.00 on 15 January 2026.

2nd cycle - June/July 2025: enrolments on 5 and 6 and from 9 to 11 June 2025 with right of priority on 5 and 6 June

• at CLA Secretary's Office from 10.00 to 12.00 noon (on 5, 9 and 11 June also from 14.00 to 16.00)
• Deadline for giving up a course place: by 12.00 on 12 June 2025.

3rd cycle - August/September 2025: enrolments from 5 June to 18 July 2025

• at CLA Secretary's Office:
  • from 5 to 11 June: from 10.00 to 12.00 noon (on 5, 9 and 11 June also from 14.00 to 16.00);
  • from 12 June to 18 July: on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.00 to 12.00 noon (on Wednesday even from 14.00 to 16.00).
• Deadline for giving up a course place: by 12.00 on 23 July 2025.

Once you have enrolled, if you wish to give up your place on the course you have to write an email to the CLA Secretary’s Office (cla@unitn.it) by the deadline indicated above for each course cycle.

Reopening of enrolments: enrolments will be reopened if there are any places left on courses. The way reopening of enrolments works is described HERE.
