Language Centre – Self Study Online Course: English for Engineering

Are you studying Engineering and need to pass the specialised English language exam included in your degree programme?

If you are unable to attend an in-person course, the University Language Centre (CLA) offers a self study online course that allows you to organise your learning according to your own schedule and needs.

The English for Engineering Self Study Course includes:

• materials to develop your Listening, Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary and Writing skills;
• exercises and tasks designed to help you prepare for the B2 technical English exam for Engineering;
• exam simulations with personalised feedback from your tutor;
• tailored guidance on how to plan your learning path effectively.

Entry requirements
The course is aimed at students from the Departments of Industrial Engineering and Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering who are preparing for the B2 specialist English exam for engineering students.
To enrol, you must already have a B1 level in English.
