Narrative Competence Hub in a Foreign Language (CoN-FL Hub)
Starting from 10:00 a.m. on February 23rd, registration will open for the Narrative Competence Labs in foreign languages (CoN-FL Hub), in English and in Italian.
Objectives
- to develop the ability to listen to, understand, and respect others’ stories in a foreign language;
- to develop the ability to communicate and express thoughts and emotions in a foreign language.
- to strengthen the sense of community through sharing and intercultural dialogue.
During the workshops, we will work on artistic texts and stimuli (short stories, poems, images, songs, visual works) with activities such as:
- close reading and attentive listening,
- prompt writing,
- sharing and discussion in a foreign language.
The two hubs are designed for students of the University of Trento for whom Italian or English are foreign languages, but a limited number of places are also reserved for native speakers, to foster authentic linguistic and cultural exchange.
At the end of the programme, participants will receive a digitally certified micro-credential issued as an Open Badge, certifying the soft skills in a foreign language developed during the hub.
