Register for the written tests
In order to register for the written test, please make sure that the language test you want to take appears in your study plan (in Esse3); if your study plan does not show it, you cannot take the Language Proficiency Test.
You can refer to what is published on the Infostudenti portal to fill out your study plan.
How to enroll
To register, enter the administrative platform and log in using your university username and password.
After logging in, in order to register for a test you will need to:
- click on “Available Tests.” in the “Language Test” section on the desktop;
- click on the part to be taken (written or oral, sometimes referred to as PS or PO) of the language test/level you want to test;
- find the call you want to register for and click on “Book”;
- the writing “Booking made” will appear by the call you chose and you will receive an automatic confirmation email.
Special cases that require registration by email:
In the following cases, registrations for language tests are possible only by sending an email to esamicla@unitn.it:
- students awaiting graduation or those students who have serious certified reasons that require repeating the language test after at least 30 days (minimum waiting time). Please note that you are requested to fill out a specific application well in advance).
Withdrawing from the test
You can withdraw from a booked test, by deleting your registration using the administrative platform no more than 48 hours before the date/time of the test.
Candidates who do not show up for the test, but have not withdrawn, cannot take the test before 30 days.
Enroll on the Speaking test
Oral examinations are usually held on Fridays, on the first useful date from the week following the written part (see calendar).
In order to register for the Speaking test, you must have passed all the previous written parts. To register, simply follow the same steps as for the written test, but select the ‘Oral’ box on the competence sheet.
If you do not pass the Speaking test, you can make a second attempt within 35 days from the date you passed the written test by registering autonomously using the administrative platform.
How to withdraw from the Speaking test
You can withdraw from the test, by deleting your registration using the administrative platform no more than 48 hours before the date/time of the test.
Candidates who do not show up for the test, but have not withdrawn, will get their registration recorded as an attempt (fail).
